I’ll never forget where I was and what I was doing the day the WTC buildings were hit. I had a roll up gate for my store at the time, almost take off my finger, the day before, September 10th. I had it sewn back together at Beth Israel Hospital, and was dosed with Vicodin. I fell asleep on the couch with the television on, and woke up to the television on, a few minutes after the first plane hit. I was groggy and it felt like a dream.
The rest of the day unraveled as it became apparent it was no accident…and years later, I feel that it’s easy to go on with every day life. But, it’s important to remember the terrorist threats are still rampant and worrisome, and we shouldn’t forget. Yesterday, we remembered strongly. Today, let’s still remember…
